As an Account Director, you will manage client relationships and their event marketing initiatives to a high standard. As their strategic advisor, you will serve as an extension of our clients’ marketing team. Paramount to this position will be your creative energy, expert knowledge of face-to-face marketing, capacity to anticipate client needs, and ability to develop strategic solutions that generate success for our clients.
Performance will be evaluated based on fulfilling the responsibilities of the position described in a timely, accurate, professional, and responsive manner; participating as part of a team; and developing and maintaining positive relationships with your clients as well as company employees.
Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Grows existing and new business to generate sales in a highly competitive market
- Possesses an entrepreneurial approach, continually prospecting for potential new clients and business development opportunities
- Provides quarterly sales projections while consistently meeting annual sales goals
- Builds collaborative client relationships to successfully understand our client’s objectives, advise on marketing strategies, and grow our presence within other divisions of their organization
- Leads internal client team meetings to establish a team environment and to ensure understanding of client objectives and project requirements
- Oversees client projects, providing concise communication among team members throughout the discovery/design/build process, properly managing the client’s budget, and ensuring the cash flow and profitability of each client project
- Attends events at new project launches to support client relationships, ensure high quality and professional service, and identify potential new business opportunities
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Hamilton’s products and services as well as event marketing industry trends
- Successful work history that demonstrates a disciplined ability to close sales while delivering superior customer service
- Natural ability to actively listen, identify needs, and develop creative solutions
- Strong account management skills, including organization, attention to detail, proactive planning skills, and a passion for customer service
- Effective presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Office365 applications
- Able to travel regularly to events (domestic and international)
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude that embraces team and individual performance
- Bachelors’ degree preferred with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or Public Relations
- Four (4) years of consultative or sales experience a plus, preferably in large organizations
- Two (2) or more years of experience in advertising or marketing; events background is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
