Business Development Executive
Camden Tradeshow & Event Furnishings is in search of a sales professional from within the tradeshow, convention, events, or hospitality industries. This position will also have a focus on special events to include calling on Hotels, Casinos, and DMC’s. The Business Development Executive is a hunter with a focus on growing market share and opening new lines of business. At Camden, we provide short-term rental furniture for tradeshows, conventions & events. This position is based in Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Development: Prospect, cultivate and develop leads with a focus on growing market share.
- Be a trusted expert on furniture selections that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of an exhibit space.
- Primary objective of creating relationships with Exhibit Houses as well as Casino, Hotels and Destination Management companies.
- Assist clients in developing furniture rental budgets.
- Be present at trade shows to prospect, oversee furniture setup and ensure client satisfaction.
- Network and build relationships through cold calling and working leads.
- Collaborate with the VP of Business Development on strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Provide accurate quotes and see projects through from start to finish.
- Be the face and show site representative for Camden.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in furniture, event planning, or tradeshow coordination is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to be part of a team environment.
- Sales experience with a hunter mentality preferred.
- Self-motivated with a winning mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
