Lakeshore Exhibit Service is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trade Show CAD Detailer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor and CNC programming to join our team. As a Trade Show CAD Detailer, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of trade show exhibits. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software and CNC programming, along with your meticulous attention to detail, will be essential in bringing our clients' visions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- CAD Design: Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for trade show exhibits using Autodesk Inventor, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of design.
- CNC Programming: Generate CNC programs for our fabrication equipment, optimizing the use of materials and ensuring efficient production processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to understand the client's vision and translate it into technical CAD plans.
- Material Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and components for each exhibit design, considering budget and design requirements.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including material specifications and construction guidelines.
- Problem Solving: Address any design challenges and recommend solutions that maintain the design integrity while staying within budget and timeframe constraints.
- Quality Control: Review and check all CAD drawings and design documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
- Project Support: Provide support during the fabrication and installation phases by offering technical expertise and addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
Willing to train a highly motivated junior level candidate.
Pay range varies and will be based on experience.
