Nuvista is seeking a motivated, customer service driven individual to join our operations team in Las Vegas. This role is on the ground at Las Vegas shows, working directly with clients and our internal team to guarantee services are delivered promptly, within budget and in compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day operations related to Pre-Show preparation, On-site Management, and Post Show Responsibilities
- Event Coordination Support: Assist operations in planning, scheduling, and executing show floor operations for tradeshows, conventions and private events.
- Labor Management: Coordinate I&D labor crews, verify time sheets, ensure compliance with venue and union requirements
- Vendor & Client Support: Serve as point of contact for clients, vendors, union representatives and labor during production of show.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare job folders, show orders, equipment lists and post-show reports
- Compliance & Safety: Uphold safety protocols on-site and ensure compliance with venue, OSHA and company safety standards.
- Administrative Support: Assist with billing documentation and expense tracking
Qualifications
- Familiarity with tradeshow industry standards, union labor processes (I&D experience a plus)
- Managerial Experience 5+ Years
- Ability to communicate customer focused concepts within the company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills in fast paced environments
- Technical knowledge: Familiar with Microsoft Office, Jot Forms,
- Based in Las Vegas and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings during peak event times
