The Pineapple Agency is looking for a proactive, extremely organized, energetic, and resourceful Project Manager to work with our team on nearly every facet of the client life cycle in our fabrication shop. We will look to this project specialist to make strategic recommendations on how to streamline processes and execute components on multiple touchpoints of this process for multiple projects simultaneously.  They will have a solid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and develop detailed work plans. Being able to fluently speak the fabrication shop language and understand the nuances that come alongside pushing projects to success in a fabrication shop are key to success in this role. The Project Manager will be held accountable for deliverables that meet client expectations, all on budget and within the provided deadlines. This role will partner closely with and/or under our Senior Producer(s) and Fabrication Shop team to execute our projects at hand, track team progress, and keep the teams motivated and energized. What you’ll do:
  • Maintains day-to-day flow of assigned projects and project timelines
  • Tracks project process and provides updates to all stakeholders
  • Real-time job tracking of labor and material costs
  • Notify TPA project teams about potential overruns in timeline and/or budget and simultaneously notify customer or department of a potential need for a change order to approve overages
  • Coordinate all receipts to the accounting office so they can maintain up-to-date tracking
  • Making sure all materials are purchased in a timely manner for each project
  • Follow up on purchases to make sure they get to the appropriate TPA department in time to complete the project
  • Work with all internal TPA teams to manage projects through the fabrication shop
  • Ensure any CAD/estimation drawings are approved and get issued to the shop floor so everyone has them in a timely manner
  • Collect & communicate CAD mapping updates as needed
  • Track project process and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Provide clear and concise communication with all relevant stakeholders as directed
  • Act as a client-facing resource for any fabrication shop projects
  • Work with the entire TPA team to:
    • Build strong internal and external (client and vendor) relationships
    • Organize client and vendor call schedules
    • Compile and distribute pertinent communications to each department
    • Collect project information, deadlines, objectives, budgets, and assign resources/teams to tasks within a project
    • Effectively communicate expectations of the project to the full team
    • Align internal teams with a mutual understanding of deliverables and drive them to execution
    • Being knowledgeable and owning the status of all projects/tasks
    • Manage project lifecycle, including setting and meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks
    • Ensure timely completion of deliverables within budgets
    • Actively monitor risks and issues promptly and drive teams to effective solutions
    • Proactively solve problems, be solutions-oriented, anticipating issues
    • Manage multiple clients/brands at once
    • Manage projects independently day-to-day
    • Maintain internal job tracker, including resource allocations
    • Internal Project Management Software implementation, organization, and coordination
    • Vet, hire, and contract vendors based on internal or project-based needs
  • Work with TPA leadership team to:
    • Organize projects, calendars, and client needs
    • Organize and implement internal processes leading to improve productivity
    • Understand project needs and properly vet viable creative candidates for specific creative needs
  • Work with the TPA Production Team to:
    • Define project scopes, contribute to SOW assumptions, create staff plans, estimate budgets, and produce timelines
    • Budget and staffing assistance on more complex campaigns
  • Work with the New Business Team to:
    • Distribute information to external parties as needed
    • Track and distribute client information to other departments
  • Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed
What you have:
  • 3-5+ years of project management, planning, and execution experience (preferably in a marketing agency, fabrication, or experiential/festival event environment)
  • General understanding of the fabrication shop environment (firm understanding of various units of measure; material knowledge including but not limited to: aluminum flat sheet, aluminum tubing, steel flat sheet, steel tubing, low voltage LED wiring, paints, vinyl, any and all wood type substrates, compressed gasses and all other materials needed for a wide array of custom fabrication projects)
  • Practical experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
    • Including experience with Google Suite and CRM software tools, methods, and best practices
  • Experience seeing complex projects through the full life cycle
  • Natural ability to effectively supervise and motivate multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to execute projects within outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and passion for delivering best-in-class consumer experiences
  • Extremely resourceful
  • Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of fabrication shop processes, workflows, and nomenclature
  • Thorough understanding of and passion for experiential marketing a plus!
  • Project management certification a plus!
Compensation This position pays $70-85K per year. This position is considered an exempt position for purposes of federal wage-hour law, which means that you will not be eligible for overtime pay for hours actually worked in excess of 40 hours in a given workweek. Work environment Performance of the required duties may require the candidates to be willing to travel to and from event locations (as expressed below). Candidates may encounter situations in which the ability to freely access all points of an onsite event in wide-ranging climates, conditions, and environments is required. Employees may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • This position will be expected to commute Monday through Thursday to our fabrication shop in North Las Vegas, and work remote on Fridays. This position may be expected to work evenings, holidays, and weekends if needed for an event, project, or client.

Travel Due to the nature of our work and industry, travel will be required for this role. This position will be expected to travel to onsite locations around the country. Travel arrangements will be sponsored by the Company, as will all incurred expenses while traveling in accordance with TPA’s travel policy.
